Help me in upgrading to CS 2008.5

Hi,

I really thank you in solving my previous queries, I have a doubt can you please bell me out of this. I need to upgrade CS 2008 to CS 2008.5. I don't want to take any risk in the existing CS we are using. Can I upgrade to 2008.5 without effecting the current DB records and if so can you please guide me how I can do this in my dedicated GoDaddy server where I don't have manual access to server.

SSO Cookie authentication logout loop

I am having the looping problem on logout using the Cookie Authentication. Can you tell me where I would locate the updated code that fixes this problem?
