Well everything seemed to go pretty smooth. I made the changes to the new communityserver.config file that Dave had us do for the original install concerning file storage then I uploaded all the files to godaddy. The SQL script ran successfully with Godaddy's management page using the queary anylizer. The web site wouldn't load however. I would get this page saying there is a "server error in ' \' application". I went and uploaded my old web.config file from my backup and the website loads like normal. The version number is now 3.1.30415.43 and the site looks ok to me. I can't for the life of my tell what's different about these two files. I'm assuming there are updates to the new web.config and I'll have unforeseen problems if I keep using my old one. Any idea what needs to be done here?

I suggest you ask GoDaddy to check that

a) your website is set to run ASP.Net 2.0 instead of .Net 1.1
b) ask them to access the site locally on the server and see if they get a more descirptive error.
