I'm assuming the folks at Telligent were just updating the CS.org here because the showcase page is not available and it looks as if they "touched" the web.config file just before I signed on because only 1 person was signed on before me.  I'm thinking by the time I get home from work they might have it out barring any sudden problem.   (Those slackers Wink)

CS Developers

The new release was just posted.

Releases take quite a bit of time to package everything, test, retest, test some more, and then post.  When it is something that goes out there and we say it is a final release, we like to make darn sure it is going to work right.

Jose Lema:

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the confusion Sad

You are correct that Community Server 2007 RC1 should *not* be used on production sites, especially since it's set to "expire" on May 15th. You are free to begin working on your "internal/locally hosted" site with RC1 but you'll need to upgrade it to the RTM release for "submission" to the contest.

Thanks for asking...

Well what the heck... consider http://www.absolutepigskin.com my official entry into the CS2007 contest.  Stick out tongue  Go easy on a novice CS guy like me... hey if my site stinks who better to give a free book to learn what the heck I'm doing... right? right?

Huston, we have a problem.

I just ran through the the download, fired up the site and it says it is a beta version that expires May 15, 2007.

Where does it say that?  If you are referring to the front default content part then it may say that as it is the default stuff they put in there from previous versions.

Questions on the newly released CS2007:

1) When is the source code available for download?

2)  Is there a doc out there that describes all the improvements/features made in CS2007 relative to the previous version?

Thanks

Krishna

I'm not 100% sure.  It is best to contact sales@telligent.com.

I looked there. Seems like nothing but SP's. I'm looking for the whole thing, all of CS2.1. Both 1.1 and 2.0 releases of the 2.1 version product. I downloaded the last SP for the 2.1 version and it seemed to be just that - the SP and not the whole thing. Thanks though. If anyone knows, "holler."
