Question -

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I might upgrade from the 2007 Beta to the released code?

Background --

I installed the beta code several weeks ago and have been building some Photo Galleries and Blogs.  I would really like to migrate these to the release code. After building the new site ( I didn't want to do an upgradeinstallation) I tried the simple approach of restoring the beta database to the newly built release code database, moved the appropriate folders to the release code installation and hoped for the best.  Well, the "oops we had an error page" popped up and alas it looks like I must dig deeper for a solution.

It sounds like you have to run the upgrade script on your database.  Also the script mentioned here will be different.  You will see the appropriate script to use  to upgrade from the beta version.  You can follow the instructions above but if you made customizations to your theme please save those themes before doing the upgrade to insure you don't lose them and can paste them back into the themes after you copy and paste the files for CS2007 in your site.
