Env: CS2007RTM.

1. login as admin.
2. Settings -> Theme Options
3. Select theme. save. (optional: wait for 15 minuets)
4. Disable User Theme Selection
5. (Optional: logoff/login)
6. Settings -> Theme Options. Change site theme. Save.
7. all users (incuding admin) will stay on old theme
and they have no possibility to change it. (because we have disabled User Theme Selection)

ps: temporary workaround is written here: http://www.nbdev.co.uk/blogs/dev_blog/archive/2007/02/25/globally-changing-the-site-theme-in-cs-2007.aspx

We call it beta 'cos it's beta than nothing.

I cannot reproduce this issue.

I used two users, a administrator and a non-administrator.

In one browser, FF, I accessed the site as the non-administrator and saved a theme selection ("Lean and Green") in the user's profile and saved.

In another browser, IE, I accessed the site as the administrator user and disabled theme selection, setting "Default" as the default site theme.  Saved.

Reloading browser 1, FF, the "Default" theme was rendered for the non-administrator user.

Back in browser 2, IE, I changed the default theme to "Lean and Green" as the administrator.  Saved.

Reloading browser 1, FF, the "Lean and Green" theme was rendered for the non-administrator user.

What did I do differently than your test scenario?

Alex,

I think you were running into some sort of caching issue.  I originally thought something like that was occurring on my site but it was just a matter of it taking a few minutes to update in the member lists to the new theme.
