I deleted a user from the forum and CS 2007 went immediatley down - the stack trace was achieved by querying my database.

Is there a way to get CS 2007 back up?  Seems like its raised an error flag somewhere and I'm just getting the default error page (http://gbarnett.org

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Granville.

Here is the stack trace:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.     at CommunityServer.Components.CSMembershipRulesModule.csa_UserKnown(User user, CSEventArgs e)     at CommunityServer.Components.CSUserEventHandler.Invoke(User user, CSEventArgs e)     at CommunityServer.Components.CSApplication.ExecuteUserEvent(Object EventKey, User user, ObjectState state, ApplicationType appType)     at CommunityServer.CSHttpModule.Application_AuthorizeRequest(Object source, EventArgs e)     at System.Web.HttpApplication.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute()     at System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously)

Hi Granville,

This appears to be related to your cookies. If you were previously logged in as a user that has been deleted, you will need to clear you cookies since the autologin will attempt to log you in as the deleted user.

Let me know if that solves the problem...

Hi Jose,

Thanks for the reply.  The account I deleted was not an account that was currently being used - about 5 mins after I deleted this use CS went down.

Hi,

I was wondering if you were able to resolve this issue? If so, what did you do.

Thanks.
Regards,
Dimitry
