Displaying my Blog with Comments on my Website

I'm currently examining CS and finding out what it does and what I can do with it. I have installed CS on my server and would like to get the blog working on my website (which is in the root folder while the CS installation is still in the "Web" folder). I can see that CS is an underlying engine from which you can administrate it's blog, forum, etc but I don't know the best way in which to display blogs on my site. Do I use the RSS feed? Do I use an API? If so, are there tutorials for an API?

Also, if I were to get blogs displaying on my site, how would I allow users to add their comments (like forum user Keyvan Nayyeri has done on his own site)? Do I need to provide textboxes and enter the info into my CS DB myself? Would I have to create the code to enable users to register and then log in, etc?

I appreciate that these are very basic questions but I've been looking on the site and through the forums for a while and haven't found simple information on these things. If anyone could provide some answers it would be most appreciated.
