I'm certain many have experienced this issue. I can't login remotely on CS page via Internet Explorer. However, it worked great with Mozilla and any other browsers, and it work with IE when I'm local (home). Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks

Need more info, what exactly happens when you try to login?  Error?  Exception? Url?

It takes you back to the homepage, but you're not login though. I can tell i'm not login because it still indicate sign in on the far left corner. However, it does detect whether you type the password correct or not. because I'll get the error message indicating to try again if the password was incorrect type.  Please feel free to try it yourself. It's my family webpage. www.guelce.com. Thanks

I am seeing the same issue.  I am using IE 7 on Vista and cannot login remotely.  I can login with firefox though.  When i remote into my server i can login with IE 6 and firefox on Windows 2003 server.  I am using beta 2 of CS 2007.

There is not an error page and just keeps you on the login page.

 Hope this helps.

I have the same problem.

worked fine under 2.1, just upgraded to the latest (3.0sp1) and in IE7 I can't log in - no error message, just takes me round to the homepage again

Fine in Firefox and Safari ... but I need to use IE as my primary browser

This may be an unfixed error that dates back to at least 2.1.  I had similar problems (that I reported here), where I logged in with IE 6, got no error message (unless I mistyped my credentials) and went straight back to the homepage.  I didn't realize what was happening until I noticed I still had the Sign In link in the upper right hand corner.  I checked exception logs etc and could find hint of any error.  Is this bug still around????

FYI - if it is the same old bug, I found that if you closed your browser completely for a few minutes then retried to log in, it frequently worked.  Sometimes I had to wait longer.  Not sure why this worked.  Seems pretty random and hard to duplicate.

Good Luck,

John

P.S.  Here the link to the old bug... nobody ever responded.  http://communityserver.org/forums/p/482927/561469.aspx#561469
