Gallery Themes

I noticed that there is no longer an option to set a gallery theme in CS2007 Beta 1?  Is this just a Beta 1 omission or a bug? 

You are right, there is no option for this.  I didn't even notice until you mentioned it.

It looks like the skins for the galleries are now under the default theme, part of the site theme.  It's only Blogs that seem to be outside of the site theme now.  I don't know if in the future we'll be able to apply different themes to galleries or not.

Separate gallery theme options in the control panel were intentionally removed.  If you look you will see that there is now a single layout tab in the 'Change How my Gallery Looks' page.

In CS 2007 Beta 1 there are currently two options:

Photo Listing Arrangement - # of columns & rows
Photos Sort Option

Are there plans to add more options?

IMHO this is a major step back!  The photostack look was great and the "theme" looks often did not compromise the look of the overall theme but the presentation of the images.  This is a feature I'll really be dissapointed in if you remove it.
