Hi,

I've been using CS 1.? since July 05. It's on my web host's server.

I've also lost the original download zip so I don't actually know what version I'm running (1.0 or 1.1).

Given that I've seen some old posts claiming that 1.1 would be released in April and given that

I know that I installed the latest version in July 2005 I can guess that I've got 1.1.

However I don't want to run 1.0 to 1.1 SQL script if I've got 1.1 and I don't want to run the 1.1 to 2.0

SQL script without running the 1.0 to 1.1 script if I've got 1.0.

You get what I mean?

So does anyone know when exactly 1.1 was released and/or does anyone know if running 1.0 to 1.1

SQL script on a 1.1 version will create any issues.

Thanks in advance.

 Jonathan.

If you view the source of your site you should see something like this that tells you what version you are running.

 <meta name="GENERATOR" content="CommunityServer 2.1 SP2 (Build: 61129.1)" />

Thanks guys.

I've got 1.1:

   <meta name="GENERATOR" content="CommunityServer 1.1 (Build: 1.1.0.50615)">

 I'll let you know how the upgrade goes.

Done!

All the sql scripts ran fine and the only real glitch was I copied the <add key="sqlprovider" value="..."> tag into the

new web.config file but in 2.0 you have the <add name="sqlprovider" connectionString="..."> tag instead.

Remember to turn off custom errors if you have any problems. And of course turn them on again when it's fixed.

Thanks for your help!
