There is a global (site-wide) CrossPosting on/off setting that is off by default. You will see the "Cross Posting is Disabled" message in each blog until this is enabled. The reason for this is that for a community blog site the Site Admin might not want to allow individual bloggers to cross-post.
To enable it go to Control Panel > Administration > Blogs > Change How All Blogs Behave. Then check the "Enable Cross Posting" checkbox and click save. Then when you go back to your individual blog Control Panel you should be able to add cross posting settings for your blog.
Kevin - I was just looking for a way to turn this on when I found your reply.
Now that I have cross posting enabled for my blog - how do I make it work with a blog I have on blogger.com?
I attempted to fill out the form to cross post a new entry to my blogger.com site (just as a trial) and it failed.
Actually - what I really want to do is find out WHY it failed? Is this in a log somewhere? the event viewer inside the admin tool did not report a failure, nor did the interface when I was entering all the data required.
Is this even possible, or do I have to assume something went wrong just because the post never made it to blogger? I'm more than willing to debug this problem myself, I just need to be pointed in the right direction. Has anyone ever attempted and successfully had cross posting work with Blogger.com?
thanks
p
