Hi Guys,

I was trying to configure a blog editor like zoundry (I tried a few others too w.bloggar, blogjet, postxing) I get the error

"XmlRpc listblogs request failed: RpcPublishedError['blogger.getUsersBlogs' type:XMLRPC protocol error code -1 msg(http://...metablog.ashx)]

This has been bugging me for a couple of days now and I want to debug this.

Any thoughts guys?

I tried the request to http://...metablog.shx response was "Fiddler has detected a protocol violation in session #48"

Any thoughts guys?

Any thoughts what else I should do to debug this?

Thanks in advance

If you visit yoursite.com/blogs/metablog.ashx do you see anything in the browser?

Hi Scott,

Appreciate your response

Accessing the Page (http://www.tariqayad.com/blog/metablog.ashx) through Firefox shows

XML Parsing Error: no element found
Location: http://www.tariqayad.com/blog/metablog.ashx
Line Number 1, Column 1:

The directory (unless you moved it) should be /blogs.

However, both /blog and /blogs 404 on the request. Are you sure the file MetaBlog.ashx is on the server in the /blogs directory?

Yeah its there.

I know you are going to ask this, so the only changes I did was to the themes.

Siteurls.config is the default, web.config is the default.

Do you think that the siteurls.config file could be corrupt but I dont know how it could affect it (I read somewhere else on the forum that the blogs directory isnt url rewritten)

found out the problem, ISP decides to block ashx extentions and didnt inform me.

I am thinking of all sorts of names to call them now Smile
