Forms authentication

Hi,

I have an ASP-application that will be rewritten in ASP.NET 2.0 soon. To start with something new quickly, I wanted to start a blogging plattfrom based on my current user database.

What I need is simly a way to authenticate my users against my database perferably with the ASP.NET 2.0 membership provider and generate a blog for each new and of course each existing user.

Did anyone already do something like this and can give me some guidance?
