  • Groups - Edit This Theme - Group Homepage Widgets?

I see group owners can change the layout of the sidebar via the widgets. Is there a way to enable the group owner to add widgets to the group homepage. For example, if I have a group ".NET User", I want to show the top 5 latest forum posts for that group in the homepage area (default left side...

  • Custom theme issue with CSS

Hello, We just upgraded from CS2008 B1 to B2 and in the mist of updating the theme changes I did in B1 (using the leanandgreen theme as the base). However, CS is not reading the correct background color change for the div #CommonLeftColumn. I have changed the color in the ~/theme/mytheme/styles/Common...

  • Display current server time

Hello, I'd like to display the current server time (and perhaps date) under the search box on my theme, so that it appears on every page. Anyone know what code to use to display this? I tried using <% = now %> which I found on a tutorial about ASP time and dates, but it caused the "Oops"...

  • Re: Theme Group Site

I also have an issue with the themes: I have a working version of CS 2007 running. When I make a new CS, I copy all the files from the working community to the new community and use the SQL instructions to make a new database. Then I add permissions in the database and to the necessary directories for...

  • Themes - use old ones such as Lean and Green with CS2008?

I was just wondering... how backwards compatible will CS2008 be with older themes? I currently use a modified Lean and Green theme, but with the new features such as groups, messaging, etc, will it even be compatible with 2008? If it won't be, I better get porting my theme to a 2008 version!
