I have been tasked with integrating the CS blog and forum functionality into a client site and am having difficulties finding information about how best to accomplish this task in the main documentation area. In the Control Panel, I see that there are a lot of custom controls available to change color...

I need to change the search box & login controls (CommonHeaderUserContent). I need to get rid of the background color so that a graphic that has been set as the background of the header will show through. Suggestions? Thanks! Doug Evans IT Manager Association of Washington Cities

Supposing that you have your CS home page opened alongside your existing website, you could use Firebug to inspect the GUI elements of the CS home page in pursuit of DOM information. Let's say you inspect the masthead. Upon doing so, you might find that to be a DIV element with an ID of #CommonHeader...

I am a new CS 2007 user working to incorporate CS 2007 (blogging engine in particular) into an existing ASP.NET 2.0 site, www.synchrotheatre.com (current version) or http://test.synchrotheatre.com (upcoming version). I would appreciate any comments on my planned approach, links to blog articles/docs...

Weird thing is happening and maybe it's because I don't understand CS properly. I created a blog theme and set it as my defaultTheme in communityserver.config. In that theme, I removed the default CS logo and text site title. If a user goes into their preferences and sets their theme to slackage...

Looking for a little help from the Community Server community here. My boss is finally taking an interest in skinning CS properly instead of forcing it to use static include files like he's used to from classic ASP. He ran across TheHive.net and loves it. He's asked me to compile a short list...

CS Listings appears to be down. Nick's probably just tweaking it, but has anyone heard when it might be back up? Just my luck: my boss has finally taken some interest in moving away from old fashioned static include files and into the 21st century. I was hoping to show him a bunch of really nifty...
