  • Theme the search box

I need to change the search box & login controls (CommonHeaderUserContent). I need to get rid of the background color so that a graphic that has been set as the background of the header will show through. Suggestions? Thanks! Doug Evans IT Manager Association of Washington Cities

Let's say you inspect the masthead. Upon doing so, you might find that to be a DIV element with an ID of #CommonHeader...

  • Re: Control Panel Logo

Whenever I need to move something like that I utilize a dynamic DOM viewer such as those included with FireBug or IE Developer Toolbar. Then you can just hover over the element of your choice via IE or FireFox to see what CSS classes, IDs, properties and values are being applied behind the scenes. To...

  • margin-left edit not showing up in Photos section

I edited the margin-left and margin-right tags in the #Common section of Common.css and change them from 35 to 0. Every page in the site now has no side margins, as desired, except for the entire Photos section and the Reader page. Weird. Has anyone seen this problem? I dont see anywhere that the photos...

  • Re: How to set fixed page width? (Ex. majornelson.com)

That is very strange that the "/themes/default/syles/" folder is empty. Are they possibly hidden? Did you do the installation of CS? If that folder is indeed empty what you'll want to do is download the web installer of CS2.0 and extract it to a temp directory and get the .css files out of the "/themes...
