  • Error in opening Forum

I have just updated my CS 2.1 standard edition to CS 2007 (version: 3.1.20917.1142) Most things get well, but when I shall open Forums from the head-menu, there is an Error: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Server Error in '/forum' Application...

  • Re: CS 2007: All Forums broken - "Whitespace is not allowed..." (System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException) error

I can confirm that with the forums application enabled, non signed in users can load the homepage. However, I still cannot access forums (either via the top level link or direct URL to a message) even when not signed in. Checked my user membership via the CS control panel as well as SQL mgr, and I found...

  • How do I remove all forums and start clean?

Since no replies to my earlier posts ( http://communityserver.org/forums/t/488799.aspx ) I will simply ask this; How may I edit SQL directly to remove all forums and start without any forum's or message data? I cannot find any help to my "whitespace is not allowed..." error so I am going...

  • CS 2007: All Forums broken - "Whitespace is not allowed..." (System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException) error

Ok, I posted about this in Setup and this forum ( http://communityserver.org/forums/t/488141.aspx ) a few weeks back... I got no responses... So in an effort to save my old forum posts, I moved them from the damaged forum to a newly created forum. This seemed to spread whatever was wrong (a damaged message...

  • 404 when exporting poll results

When I click on the Export button to export poll results to a CSV file, I get a 404 Not Found error. Odd, because the URL is exactly the same as the currently displayed page but with different query parameters, so that's a strange error to get. Anyone able to successfully export poll results? Any...

  • Thread Errors w/Upgrade from 1.0 to 2.1 RTM

Ok, I can't seem to find much info about the scenario I am running into which is begining to make me think I am the only one experiencing this particular problem. I am upgrading from an early version of CS (1.0). I need to keep user and fourm data otherwise a clean install would be preferable. I upgrade...

  • OutOfMemoryException

Hi, We are currently running a site with approx. 6000 forums. However, I am unable to create new forums, or access on of the existing forums. The load of a forum is very slow and times out, and I sometimes receive an OutOfMemoryException. I tried to trace it down and I believe it happens in the ForumsSqlDataProvider...
