Hello, Thanks everybody for your time :). All I have to do is to rearrange the controls and add a few more (new fields) in Edit Profile. I have figured out how to do this and I have also found where (in which page) to do this. I also followed up the article of adding new controls to User profile. Now...

I'm sure this is super easy, but I just can't find it searching through the forums. I'm editing Theme.Master for a blog, and I want to add more navigation links. < CSBlog : WeblogData ID ="LeftNav1" runat ="server" resourcename ="Weblog_Link_Home" linkto ...

What if you don't have the SDK? I've got the same problem. I need to display a poll, but the div I'm displaying it in is only about 230px wide, so the hard-coded image sizes are breaking the layout. Is there any way to change these sizes without recompiling the code?

I found a better solution in CS2007. In /theme/yourtheme/galleries/grouplist.aspx, there is a GalleryList control. Inside the <ItemTemplate>, just before the existing markup, add this: <CSControl:PlaceHolder runat="server"> <DisplayConditions><CSControl:SectionPropertyValueComparison...

I support a CS2007 install that is comprised of 2 Virtualized instances, with each instance having its own discussion forums. I've been looking over the GroupList control, trying to determine how I can display forum groups from the other virtualized site. The idea is we would have a 'Other forums...

Just completed customising my website, creating a few custom controls in the process, and I thought it might be useful to others, so here they are: DataSourceListCount & DataSourceListCountValueComparison When I did the comments and trackback separation, it turned out there was no way of finding...

I want to create a gallery page that lists all galleries except a few specific ones. I can't seem to figure out a QueryOverides or DisplayConditions argument that gets me what I want. I don't want to include which galleries I want to display because there could be many. But I always know that...

I need to change the search box & login controls (CommonHeaderUserContent). I need to get rid of the background color so that a graphic that has been set as the background of the header will show through. Suggestions? Thanks! Doug Evans IT Manager Association of Washington Cities

I think paths to images are exported but not the images themselves. I would assume overrides are exported too, including references to external files but not the external files themselves. To summarize, the .XML file is just an .XML file. Regarding your last question, I wouldn't try it in production...
