Let me illustrate what I would like to do with an example. Let's say I'm building a site for skateboarder Bob Burnquist who is also an organic farmer. Skateboarding and organic farming are distinctly different activities. I want photos organized as follows: Galleries for each big skateboarding...

Hello, When someone goes to my home page, I would like to display the photos like the picture below. The date is actually a hyperlink, selecting it should show me a page of pictures taken during that day. Only five pictures should be displayed per day. Since I have pictures going back to 1999, I need...

I changed the administration settings in Control Panel to use the displayname of the users and change the user settings to use display name. On the main blogs page for the site it works fine, but when you click on the main photos page, it shows the username instead of the display name. This also happens...

Everything is working great on my new site, but now I have a few new users and a bunch of empty photo galleries. I love using the auto create for the galleries and blogs as it cuts down on maintenance time, but in the blogs section, their blogs don't appear until they actually post something. I would...

My guess is that it's related to the permissions set on certain folders. You should give Full Control to the ASPNET (or Network Service on W2k3) account on the following directories: blogs/files photos/cache photos/storage files/storage Utility/RankIcons Utility/RoleIcons

I'm trying to import just a few photos into one of my galleries using the control panel. For those who don't know, it can be found in Control Panel/My Photos/Settings/Advanced Photo Settings. In the Import tab, it shows 3 photos ready to import. I actually had to first create a physical folder...

Using CS v2.1 I have an image gallery that feeds images to the blog posts. I want to be able to set this gallery as inaccessibe to the Everyone role because I don't care for them to see that gallery as such. Yet, if I turn off view permissions, then the users cannot see the images as part of the...
