  • Control Panel display errors (other tabs work OK)

    I've installed CS 2.1 on a server. I can see the home page, and click through the tabs for home / blogs / forums / photos / downloads / reader / roller. However if I click on the tab for 'Control Panel' I see the following errors. Any suggestions on what to do next? Thanks, Mamtha Server...

  • Web installation - collation problem

    Hi, I tried the web installation many times. Every time I have a "collation problem" or other. My question is : may I instal the local (msi) version on my own server and my database and after this, to copy all the web files and to restore the database from that one on my server. And of course...

  • cs_SiteSettings_Get has too many arguments specified

    I've ben reading through the forum posts on the install problems, some of which I've found useful so thanks for that. I'm still left with a problem at the end of it all though where CS is giving me an error with one of the stored processes that has been set up. You can see the full error message at http...

  • We are running - almost

    Yesterday I finally got my site up and running. I'm hosting it on godaddy.com, running CS2.0 ASP.NET2. I used the web installer. But now I got a few issues I would like to hear if anyone can help me with. 1) No signatures are displaying. I've both set the signatures as allowed and enabled. Isn't there...

  • Error creating the virtual directory: CommunityServer

    The errors I was getting in previous attempts were about SQL_USR not having sufficient permissions, but when I switched to using Windows Authentication for both instances it asks, we were able to eliminate those db permissions errors and are left with just this one, which, is odd since this path does...

  • Trouble getting it up and running

    I am using XP SP2, .NET 1.1 (have 2 but want to use 1.1), and SQL Server 2005. I installed the latest version, let it use the defaults, chose Windows Auth (as it recommended) and on running it, I get the following error. Cannot open database "CommunityServer" requested by the login. The login failed...

  • "Next time automatically sign me in" seems to do nothing

    This was originally a webhost4life.com install that technically worked, but I've never been able to upgrade. I believe it's v1.1 - although any upgrade scripts I would try to run would die with hundreds of errors. It's never really run right (just a few small things that are quirky), but this particular...

  • Re: CS2.0B3 -> CS2.1RTM Upgrade Issues

    I ran into the same problem when trying to upgrade from 2.0.60217.2664 to 2.1.60809.935 (web install download); running your patch against my db before running the cs_2.x_to_2.1_upgrade.sql script for 2.1.60809.935 worked.
