sending mails is not working in my site i am using cs 2008 plz help me

my settings are:

Enable Email *Yes No
Email Encoding utf-8
Email Subject Encoding utf-8
Email Throttle -1
SMTP Server Have tried: localhost; the smtp supplied by my host(mail.domainname.com) and leaving the field empty.
SMTP Login Info
Use SMTP over SSL
Yes *No (have tried both yes and no)
Use Windows Integrated Authentication
Yes *No
SMTP server login required
*Yes No
SMTP Server Loginname mail@mydomain.com
SMTP Server Password (entered password for the above account)
SMTP Port Number 21

plz plz help me,my friends....

Can you look at hte Exception Reports on your site, and find any exceptions related to emails.  What do theys ay?
