New menus higlihting

Hi,

I'm using hawaii theme on CS 2008.
When i click on a menu link, the respective page opens and the menu text changes from black to white.

I've added a few menu items - which are working perfectly - but when I choose one of these self made menu items, the text menu doesn't change from black to white. Instead, in such cases, it's the "Home" menu that turns white.

How can I make my self made menus text color become white when I click them ?

Any help would be appreciated.
