Let me preface: I have been working with 2008 for the last week on my local mahcine and all is going well. I installed Ben's dynamic navigation which is truly awesome and have made some other, mostly cosmetic, changes.

Somewhere along the way, the default link /groups/ started giving me a 404. The link worked for sometime and the page itself is accessible.

If I append default.aspx in the address bar of the browseer it goes to the correct location - /groups/default.aspx.

I have rolled by to my site.config files and all changes, that I recall.

The question is what would cause this to happen?

Ensure that you have a default.aspx page (it can be blank) in the web/groups/ folder (note that this is not within in a theme).

Go ahead and call me stupid. I deserve it!

I had dragged and dropped the grops folder into another folder. Moving to fast for my own good.

Ben, you my man, R-O-C-K, by the way.
