In CS2007 there was a nice feature that within each forum, the search box was limited to that forum by default. That seems to have disappeared. Even after managing to locate the "more search options" all the way at the bottom of the page, I still don't see any way to choose one forum to search in. I admire the clean new look of the search box but I can't seem to find all the functionality.
The feature is still there, it's just not in the Hawaii theme. If you change your site theme to the "calypso" theme, you should see your search in forum functionality in return.
If you want to add the search in functionality to the Hawaii theme, you'll have to modify the Theme files, but you may well lose the clean new look of the search box.
