I would like to allow the user to be able to add metadata to a media post (beyond the tags feature) on the createeditpost.aspx page.
I have looked into using an Action (http://getben.com/archive/2007/03/15/New-Custom-Code-Condition-and-Action-Chameleon-Controls.aspx), but I do not know whether I should be using Unmoderated or Moderated SuccessActions. I believe that I want to use Unmoderated. However, it does not appear that this code is actually being executed.
I am not able to do this using a PostPostAttachmentUpdate because I cannot access the data from the createeditpostpage at that point.
Is there any way to collect additional metadata on this page?
I was able to resolve this issue by using a SubForm.
jsawruk: I was able to resolve this issue by using a SubForm.
Did you write a custom subform, or is there one available in the API that you were able to apply?
I created a custom subform, and then stored the data in a custom table not associated with CS.
