I  am running Community Server 2008 Express Edition. If I am working on a blog post, and attach a file to the blog post, and click save so it uploads the file, IE crashes everytime with an error in mshtml.dll.

If I perform the same action in firefox, everything is fine.

The file is a small zip file (few 100k in size). It is very annoying, as I generally do use IE for most of my day to day operations.

Do you have the IE Developer Toolbar installed?  This is a known issue with the IE Developer Toolbar and causes issues on many sites (not just Community Server).

I suggest disabling or uninstalling the IE developer toolbar.

Yeah I do, so it is probably the issue.

However I haven't had issues with other sites to be honest, and I do make pretty extensive use of the dev toolbar, so I might need to stick to using Firefox for my CS2008 administration for the time being, at least on this machine.

Thanks for the quick followup though.
