Problem with a themes home page

I am having some going through a test upgrade to 2008 and am stuck on a problem, I am going to continue but it is strange.

The problem is that I have migrated the site and database from the hosted system to me development machine, it is running fine, but when I go to the home page/default.aspx I get an error saying that "error.htm?aspxerrorpath=/themes/default/common/home.aspx" and the page will not display, but if I go to the logon.apsx, or any other page/site inside it works, i.e. going to my blog, files or gallery..

Any idea on where to check.

 Well tried the upgrade and it failed... well the upgrade worked :) but the site would't load... I decided to reload the old 2007 back up and I am getting the same error on the default.aspx and home page, but all of the others work.

Been at this all weekend and for now I am going to go do some XNA Programming or Modelling and maybe jump back in later in the week.

Can you open your web.config file and change the Custom Errors attribute to "Off" (note this is case sensitive) so you can see the actual error, and then post back with that error.

When I change the connection string to the hosted Database, not the backup it works fine :(

I probably has something to do with the sitemappings, but why would the rest of the site work?

 It looks like your site is still trying to use the home page from the CS2007 default theme.

Can you delete the ~/themes/default/ directory, and then change your site's theme to calypso in the Control Panel.

If that fails to work, do you get this error for all theree themes, or is it just specific themes (and which ones).
