Embedding Adsense Units inside CS 2007 Forum Boards

What is the simplest way to place ads within user posts, or at the top of a forum board, or any other spots for that matter?

I have ads working perfectly now in my blogs section, via a tutorial that can be found here:

That url is extremely helpful.

However, I am looking for something similar to start embedding ads in other areas to besides random spots in the forums.

Is there any type of module or plugin that gives all sorts of fancy options for adsense in communityserver, to make adsense more user friendly.  I know for Simple Machines Forums (a free forum package) theres an adsense module which makes adsense integration, streamlined and easy, with no code hacking necessary.  It's all done via gui boxes, and check boxes through admin interface....let's you control where in forums, or in posts, or which areas on the random pages, etc.

 i also tried to follow that tutorial to the letter (i am 99.9% sure) but it did not work for me.  i got to the part where i created 2 articles - standardblogtop and standardblogbottom.  actually i created the "top" article first and pasted an adsense code that i had been trying to find a home for hours - i wanted to see if that worked first before i found a code for the second.  so then i enabled ads etc and signed off.  i looked back at my site and on all pages, (blogs as well as home page) the ad was at the top of the page.  i guess that would have been fine except i already had 3 ads on my home page and having a fourth is against google's policy.  plus i want my ads on the sidebars, not as a banner.  so i deleted the article, and disabled ads.  i also noticed that the when you edit the ad it said standardtop instead of standardblogtop.  i think that is why the ad showed up at the top on all of the pages, rather than just the blogs.  but i don't know why that is as i copied the code lines in the tutorial that specify the words "blogtop" and "blogbottom".  frustration.

i heard that you need cs2008 and their widgets to be able to add to sidebars.  did you have any dealings with what i mentioned?  thanks.
