Repeating Forum Topic

I have one old, but active,  forum topic that acts differently then other forum topics, and I'm not sure why.  The topic repeats, in one form or another, multiple times in a topic listing, but the thread ID for each repeating topic is the same.

For instance, for a given forum, a listing of topics would show like this:

Thread	Replies
	Example Last Post by xxxxxxxxxx , 04-18-2008 1:44 PM 1, 2 ... 149, 150, 151	2,258

If you hover over the links (removed for this post), you would see that all these topics point to the same thread ID.  If someone adds a reply to topic Example within the forum, the same reply is added to all the Re: Example topics.  Everything is the same for all these topics except for first topic name and the following four repeating topics.

I'm not sure what went wrong here, or how to clean it up.  Again, the thread ID is the same for these listed topics.

Any ideas?
