CS2008 RC complete change log

I am trying to find a complete list of all the new - improved features of the CS 2008 RC. But I only can find the release notes of the Beta versions.

Is there a complete change log of the RC version?

There is not a changelog that was included with the RC or Beta downloads.  Is there a specific area you have a question about.  If so let me know and I can tell you what was changed.

That’s to bad, I was hoping for a nice list of features and changes.

I wondered if this RC version would be a necessary update for our situation. We are using primarily the forum application within the complete CS2007 suite.

What are the changes in the forum module? Are there any big changes?

Here is an abbreviated list: 

 - Lots of bug fixes

 - More easily embed media in forum posts. 

 - There is a REST API

 - New site theme, includes new forum presentation

 - Widget support

 - Activity logging

- The send to friend feature in forum is nice because you can easily send a post to another user, good for support situations

- Centralized file storage

There are many other changes, but those are some high level ones that come to mind.

Great to hear that you added a send to friend option! That was one of the features that was missing.
