problem with web.config

Hi,

I tried installing CS2007 with the help of David Stokes instructions on Godaddy. I have gotten rid of the generic error from the web.config and when I run the installer/default.aspx i get about 4 or 5 errors from the web.config file that appear like this:

It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

The first error comes on the line:

<sessionState mode = "Off">

Any help would be appreciated.
