I would like as a site admin to receive an e-mail when a new user registers on my site (CS 2007). I have tried both e-mail approval and admin approval modes. But it seems in either scenario I don't know that a new user is there (and waiting for my approval in admin approval mode) unless I happen to go into the Control Panel > Administration section.
Anyone know of a feature I may be overlooking that would enable this type of notification?
Thanks!

I made a CSModule which send an email when a user signs up - have a look at http://askcrome.co.uk/alexcrome-cs/ for more details.

Alex,
Any idea how your CSModule behaves when you mass import users using the migrator from 4-Roads ?
ThanksTony W
I have absolutly no idea. If you want to be sure that you don't receive email notifications when you import users using hte Migrator, just don't install the module until after you've imported users.
If you want a definite answer, I suggest you ask 4-Roads. Tell them it's a CSModule that hooks into the PostUserUpdate event and ask if their migrator will fire that code off.
The Migrator does not execute any CSModules during migration, for the sake of speed.
