 Hi

I want to use some global tags that are shown when clicking on "Select Tags" but I don´t seem to find it in the control panel. Anyone knows where it is or is this feature taken away in CS2008

Global tags has never been a CS feature.

There was/is a setting to identify a set of tags that must be matched for blog posts to display on the blogs homepage, but that does not do what you're describing.

 Ok, I see. So there is not possible to have a "standard" set of tags that is shown for all bloggers?

You could replace the existing Tags-related controls with your own that only support selecting a predefined list of tags, but this is not supported out-of-the-box.
