Fresh install, can't login

 I just installed Community Server on a Windows XP PC to try it out. I now can't login using the username/password I specified during install. I receive the message:

The username and/or password cannot be validated, or your account is locked out or has not been approved yet.
 
I have opened up the aspnet_Membership table using SQL Management Studio and I can see my username and password in there, in plaintext, yet they don't seem to work?

Sorry, i was trying to login with my email address instead of username :) stupid me!
