Hi,
There's a common issue I'm having where when I save an entry with spacing, the text will shift and all the spacing is removed, creating one big block of text. One workaround I've found is to create extra white space, but all that does is create extra space between paragraphs I don't want to have.
Another way to remedy this problem was edit the text in word and remove all spacing. Then copy and paste the text into the editor and then add the spacing through the editor. That usually will retain the spacing and formatting.
But in general, it seems that saving a do***ent under CS is buggy and annoying. But that's one specific issue I'm having.
I've seen extra whitespace be added (but that is adjustable in the editor), but never whitespace being removed.
Which editor are you using and on which browser/version? Are you running CS2008 locally or are you experiencing these issues on cs.org as well?
Thanks for the response back.
I've been using the Standard Content Editor and Using IE 7. We're running CS 2008 Beta 1 on a virtual machine in a QA environment. I haven't experienced these issues on cs.org, however.

Changes were made to the standard editor since beta-1. CS.org is running the newer version. I'd suggest waiting for beta-2 and testing to see if you still have issues with the updated editor.
I've switched to the "Enhanced" content editor and things are working much better.
Thanks again for the suggestions.
