noob to CS - How do you...?

Is there an option on the forums so folks could view how many times the thread has been read? 

Also.. is there a way to globally fix the time zone.  Our fourms are for support only (not for CS -lol) so we don't plan on enabling user profiles.. I think since people manually set their time, that there's no way to do this on a global scale.
