I am looking to find the download for the SDK for CS 2007 so I can investigate what needs to be done to create a custom Role Provider.

Do you have any articles that explain how to do this?
Could you point me in the direction of where I should look? Code Location, namepace?

As for getting the SDK - try http://get.communityserver.org/download/cssdk/.

As for creating a custom Role Provider.  Community Server uses the standard ASP.NET role provider model, but adds some additional methods to support bulk lookups - you may find the articles at http://docs.communityserver.org/wiki/page.aspx/246/morpheus-an-overview/ useful.
