Encrypted cookies examples?

We are using the custom cookie module to interface with our existing single-sign-on architecture, and I have not been able to find any documentation or examples for any of the interfaces in Telligent.CommunityServer.EncryptionModule.dll. In particular, I was trying to use Telligent.CommunityServer.EncryptionModule.SymmetricEncryptor.

Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place. Can anyone point out where I can find this documentation, or at least provide an example which uses the following communityserver.config node?

        <extensionModules>
            <add name="EncryptionProvider" {details redacted} />
        </extensionModules>

Why exactly are you looking for the interfaces in CS? If you're looking for encryption examples you might look at the CookieAuthTest.aspx file found in the  single sign-on module download.
