I need some help with doing anything at all the Community Server download I did from Godaddy.com.  I have talked to Community Server and Godaddy and they both have informed me that there is no help for free downloads.  (Which tells me that they don't assist anyone starting out that isn't a PAYING customer).  I would like to know how to edit and change anything on my two sites.  It tells me to sign on as the administrator, so, I sign in from the front side using my ftp sign-in (I believe) and then to double click on the file picture.  When I sign in that way, I am told to open the site in the windows explorer.  After that I have no clue what to do because I am very new at this.  If anyone can help me with getting started with doing anything at all to get my sites going, I will be very appreciative.

Hi,

Support for the non commercial versions, (Personal and Express) is limited to support by the community within theses forums.

I assume you have installed Community Server via the GoDaddy Metropolis.  By default (unless you changed it) this installs to domainname/CommunityServer.  To access the site you need to type in your domain name/CommunityServer into the address bar of internet explorer.

Regards

Dave
