Simple Question: What Happens When the Link is Clicked.

Using this as an example, when someone clicks "Changes to Chameleon List Controls" do they go to the mirrored site, or stay on my site?

Depending on how you have mirroring setup, I believe they should stay on your site, but the page that they go to then has a link to the origional source.
