I am running CS 3.0, hosted locally, including the Email Gateway. So far I have not been able to send any email from the application, and the event log is full of messages like this:
EventID 777 Message failed to be successfully processed
EventID 601Messages Sent: 0Messages Failed: 4
I don't think the problem is with our smtp server and I'm sure that all applicable email addresses are correct.
Can anyone help??

I, too, am experiencing this issue. I have read through countless posts here and have found nothing relating to it. I have another website (DokuWiki) on the same server and it is able to send email from the local SMTP server. I have email enabled in the control panel. I have tried both the local IP address and Localhost for SMTP server. Every change I've made is accompanied by a reboot of the CS site.
I have multiple messages saying:
Email Queue: Messages Sent: 0 Messages Failed: 3
