KB and Upgrade

Hello,

I was wondering if the upgrade of the KB software will allow the normal upgrade path, or if all data entered would be lost? Also, is this the same KB as used on this site?  And as this site, are subcategories accepted?

The KB used on this site is not Knowledge Base Server.

We are starting to plan a new version and will definately have an easy upgrade path that would merge your data.

However, there is no date set for release as of yet.
