I've checked for the answer to my question, but I haven't been able to find the exact question and answer.
I'm mirroring several rss feeds in several blogs for external news. Each mirrored rss feed has 10 to 25 posts. The first mirror is showing up in "what's new", though none of the others are, though I can see on the blog page they are mirroring. Also, now that the blogs are being mirrored, my forum posts no longer show in what's new. Is there a way to have only a few posts from each blog show in what's new, along with the new forum and/or gallery posts?
On my main blog page, all I show are the numerous posts from the first mirrored blog. The other mirrored feeds fall back to the 2nd or 3rd pages.
I'd like a few posts from each mirrored blog to show on the main blog page just like what I'd like to see in what's new, and all the blogs to be listed in the content box on the side of the main blog page. Now, all that's listed are my blog group names and a link to "other blogs on this site". I'm not really sure what a blog roll is or how to implement it.
Is it possible to do this? I hope I've been clear enough for someone to understand what I'm trying to do.
As an addendum to this question (does it matter? ) I'm mirroring digg, so after only a few days I have 500 posts in my digg blog. Is there a way to limit this overflow of information? Or do I have to stay on top of it and delete frequently? Is there a faster way to delete than thru the control panel?
