A user posted a reply to one of our forums and uploaded a file as part of his message.  A directory for the file was never created and the file can not be found anywhere on ther server.  There is an entry on the forums page for the message but when someone clicks it they are brought to the "We are unable to process your request page."  I checked the exceptions table and it says that access to the path is denied, there was no path in the first place.  I tried to create one to get around this problem and allow other users to continue to post to this thread but that didn't work either.  This is the first time I've seen this problem, does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?  I need to get this done quickly,

 Thanks everyone.  Happy holiday's.

I guess you're running under Medium Trust and FileIOPermission isn't allowed in a custom level so when you try to add/update your file, it won't get uploaded so you can't get access to it via link.

I have this problem on my site and contacted my hoster to see what will happen.

Enabling database storage for attachments may solve this issue but it has a huge effect on your database size.
