I've just started playing with Feedburner, and I'm trying to integrate the script that FeedBurner provides into my website, but I can't get the variable name that I should be using for each post.

I'm editing the Skin-EntryList.ascx but I don't know how to capture the name of the current post.  Also, which other template do I need to alter (if any)?

This would be a great entry for the Blog FAQ, btw...

THanks

You can use CSContext.Current.PostName in conjuction with other APIs to get it.  Take a look at my CoComment script for CS 2.1 in my blog to write it easier.

You need to work on Entry-View.ascx page.

Keyvan,

Your suggestion was very instrumental, although it took me a while to get everything working as I needed.

I also learned some very valuable things while dealing with the Feedburner script:

1. It will only work if the URL in question matches the one you sent to feedburner, not with an internal URL (Duh!!)

2. It requires your URL to be lowercase (Doh!!!)

3. One should always display the contents of variables when testing, as it could save you a good 15 or 20 minutes.

4. Taking a break to play with your kids is good for both them and you, as you'll be able to think a whole lot better when you come back in.  Big Smile

Thanks again for your assistance...

Now to tackle some other issues...
