Hello,

Is anyone aware of techniques or sites or add-ons or instructions on how to link CS2 with a front-end subscription manager?

I want to have several memberships (free, free trial, and paid). Ideally, the individual would sign up (choose login information, make payment), get invoice, confirmation e-mail, and then CS would know their subscription/access level, provide a link for cancellation of the account, etc.

I would think this would be critical for community sites that act as membership sites where people pay a fee for the content and tools on the site.

Thanks,

Steve

I think your ideas are good. My sites have a subscription element, but I have to manage it manually. For example, I'm charging businesses a subscription fee for use of the site, I then link to Paypal and they pay and I track each subscribing business member manually.  In the Terms of Use I spell out who must pay and the benefits of subscribing.

My sites are brand new, just hosted in the last couple of weeks so I don't have any subscribing businesses yet, but this is methodology I used. Whether it works or not, or if businesses are even willing to pay, is to be seen.
