The errors I was getting in previous attempts were about SQL_USR not having sufficient permissions, but when I switched to using Windows Authentication for both instances it asks, we were able to eliminate those db permissions errors and are left with just this one, which, is odd since this path does not even exist!    any thoughts?

Do you have the community server setup inside a virtual directory with .NET 2.0 configured for it?  Also, whenever you were installed community server did you configure it to point to the correct folder?  What folder do you have it installed under?

I suspect that the version of the installer that you are using tries to create a virtual folder under a web site with an instance ID of 1. 99.9% of the time this is the correct ID, but if your IIS is configured differently then our install will fail. To find out if this is the case: - Go to IIS manager and right click on the web site and select properties. - On the Web Site Tab click properties in the logging section. - At the bottom it shows you the log file name - it starts with W3SVCx where x is the instance ID Please let me know what you find.
