I've tried and tried... when I go into the reader and right-click/add-feed... no matter what url I put in it comes back with:
"Unable to add feed. Please double check the URL specified."

I tried:
http://communityserver.org/forums/rss.aspx?ForumID=202&Mode=0
http://darkfalz.com/blogs/blog_1/rss.aspx
and many others...

I am logged in as Admin, nothing..nada...zip...

Am I missing something?

I even tried some test blogs and forums on my http://localhost/communityserver setups, but with no luck.

I must be missing something?

Dont know if this will help.  I just tried using

http://news.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_uk_edition/front_page/rss.xml

and all worked fine.  Maybe it needs the rss.xml or the feed as an xml file.

Regards

Dave

Same error.... I dont think it matters what feed I use, they all say the same "bad url" message.

There must be a configuration issue somewhere that I've messed.

Feeds should work fine in the RTM build, there was some slight issues with the beta/RC builds.  If they still don't work then remove all of them, recycle the app-pool, and then try adding some again

I'm using the 2.0 RTM and have recycled the server a number of times. Still no luck...

I'm not sure if I'm doing something incorrect or not but am unable to add any feed.

I have the same problem. I couldn't add external feeds at all. But my quess is that my web server is not allowed to read rss feeds from outside our firewall. I can add internal feeds, but not external. You might want to check if that's the same on your servers.

I am experiencing problems with this at the moment too. In particular getting the reader to work through a web proxy. i have tried setting up the <core> node as instructed in the docs but can't get it to work. I'm struggling for answers but hopefully someone in the know can address it. here is the thread:-
