We are having problems with user avatars displaying and users ability to enable avatars.

Users are able to upload their avatars (we can see them in the filestorage directory), but CS2008 does not ever display them nor does it allow the user to change the "Enable Avatar" from No to Yes.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Not sure if this applies to CS2008 since we are still using CS 2007 and 2007.1. In 2007 there is a 'Global Avatar Settings' entry in Control Panel>>Admin>>Membership that is used to Enable Avatars, Enable Remote Avatars, and set the Avatar Dimensions. If CS2008 has a similar function I'd make sure you have Avatars Enabled in that.

Yes, there is the same in CS2008. It is enabled, but it appears as though there is a bug in CS2008 that won't recognize this enabled state.

Additional information:

Our developer used code from the CS2007 page for the EditProfile.aspx page. Is anyone aware of any changes that would make the CS2007 code incompatible with CS2008, specifically with this page?
