I moved existing 2008.5 DB from Win2003/IIS6/SQL2005 to Win2008 server with IIS7 and SQL 2008. Made .config changes according to this - http://dev.communityserver.com/forums/p/502627/632759.aspx#632759

The problem is - can't login on the new server.

I login and get no error message but the UI stays just like before authorization nor I can access any of the non-public features...

Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?

Thank you!

Thank you,
Serge B.

Alex, I found the problem - when moved the site I also changed subdomain from new.domain.com to test.domain.com and didn't update cs_Sites table.

Thank you!

Thank you,

When you say you can't access any non public features, are they actually inaccessible or do you just not see the links for them.  If you manually navigate to /controlpanel/settings/default.aspx does that work or do you get asked to login?

I would also suggest that you clear your cookies incase something is being cached from the previous website which is screwing things up.
